The principle technology was based on the Fischer Tropsh process. This process is a collection of chemical reactions that converts a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen into liquid hydrocarbons.

NAR Engineering constructed two pilot projects based on this technology.

Our main role in this area was to aid in the construction of the hardware which included piping, valves and components and instrumentation, and also the design and manufacture of pressure vessels , reactors and sulphur traps.
